data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span dir=\"auto\">Uma mina de ouro localizada na regi\u00e3o montanhosa \u00edngreme da China subtropical modernizou uma de suas lagoas de rejeitos para convert\u00ea-la em uma instala\u00e7\u00e3o de armazenamento de rejeitos a c\u00e9u aberto. A barragem de rejeitos est\u00e1 localizada em um c\u00e2nion pr\u00f3ximo \u00e0 mina. O estreito c\u00e2nion \u00e9 represado na entrada, proporcionando uma \u00e1rea de aproximadamente 6,3 hectares.<\/span><\/p><p><span dir=\"auto\">A alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o do rejeito de rejeitos (TSF) \u00e9 o efluente de uma esta\u00e7\u00e3o de tratamento de \u00e1gua de processo que utiliza Na\u2082S\u00a0<\/span><sub><span dir=\"auto\">e<\/span><\/sub><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0CaO para remover sais dissolvidos. O precipitado met\u00e1lico apresenta uma distribui\u00e7\u00e3o granulom\u00e9trica fina, sendo dif\u00edcil de flocula\u00e7\u00e3o e captura. A \u00e1gua deve ser reciclada, pois n\u00e3o atende aos crit\u00e9rios de descarte.<\/span><\/p><p><span dir=\"auto\">O clima influenciado pelas mon\u00e7\u00f5es traz as chuvas mais intensas na primavera e in\u00edcio do ver\u00e3o (mais de 200 mm por m\u00eas), com precipita\u00e7\u00e3o anual superior a 1,7 metros. A opera\u00e7\u00e3o de uma lagoa de rejeitos requer a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua, incluindo \u00e1gua da chuva. A \u00e1gua recuperada da lagoa n\u00e3o atende aos requisitos de descarte e precisa ser reciclada. A \u00e1gua da chuva coletada na barragem de rejeitos cria um problema de balan\u00e7o h\u00eddrico. Um estudo de otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o focou em uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o que incorporasse os benef\u00edcios da tecnologia de empilhamento superficial para evitar o desequil\u00edbrio h\u00eddrico e minimizar a quantidade de \u00e1gua de processo que entra na lagoa.<\/span><\/p><p><span dir=\"auto\">O objetivo do projeto era:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span dir=\"auto\">Garantir o descarte seguro e eficaz dos rejeitos.<\/span><\/li><li><span dir=\"auto\">Melhorar as caracter\u00edsticas f\u00edsicas gerais dos dep\u00f3sitos.<\/span><\/li><li><span dir=\"auto\">Maximize a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua no espessador.<\/span><\/li><li><span dir=\"auto\">Mantenha a \u00e1gua da chuva separada da \u00e1gua do processo.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b904fc3 elementor-widget-mobile__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b904fc3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h1 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Solu\u00e7\u00f5es recomendadas\n<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-236857a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"236857a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span dir=\"auto\">A mina determinou que a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do empilhamento superficial do material proveniente de um espessador de pasta, pasta e rejeitos espessados \u200b\u200b(P&amp;TT), proporcionaria os seguintes benef\u00edcios:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span dir=\"auto\">A desidrata\u00e7\u00e3o da corrente de processo em um espessador de pasta recupera significativamente mais \u00e1gua na planta. A \u00e1gua no fluxo inferior evapora no rejeito de rejeitos e n\u00e3o se acumula como no m\u00e9todo de lama. O controle do balan\u00e7o h\u00eddrico \u00e9 simplificado, recuperando a \u00e1gua na pr\u00f3pria planta.<\/span><\/li><li><span dir=\"auto\">Sem a necessidade de coletar \u00e1gua do lago, a \u00e1gua da chuva n\u00e3o contribui para o equil\u00edbrio h\u00eddrico.<\/span><\/li><li><span dir=\"auto\">A densidade final dos rejeitos \u00e9 maior com o sistema P&amp;TT, aumentando a capacidade da barragem de rejeitos.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e8351ce elementor-widget-mobile__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e8351ce\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h1 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Problemas com o ressecamento em um clima subtropical\n<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c8c6875 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c8c6875\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span dir=\"auto\">Embora as t\u00e9cnicas de empilhamento de superf\u00edcie tenham sido bem-sucedidas em diversos climas ao redor do mundo, ainda existe preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a efic\u00e1cia dessas t\u00e9cnicas em \u00e1reas com fortes chuvas.<\/span><\/p><p><span dir=\"auto\">Ap\u00f3s a instala\u00e7\u00e3o do espessador de pasta, a mina realizou um estudo piloto de deposi\u00e7\u00e3o e secagem para quantificar os benef\u00edcios e aprimorar o plano de gest\u00e3o do local. Uma \u00e1rea de teste de 10 m por 10 m foi preparada ao lado da barragem de rejeitos e preenchida com cerca de 500 mm de pasta de cimento e talho-pigmento (P&amp;TT). A secagem continuou rapidamente, com grandes rachaduras surgindo no s\u00e9timo dia (veja a foto 3). O d\u00e9cimo dia mostra o dep\u00f3sito ap\u00f3s duas chuvas, seco e com rachaduras significativas. A rota\u00e7\u00e3o das posi\u00e7\u00f5es das torneiras ativas permite a secagem entre as camadas, garantindo a estabilidade (ver foto 7). A suave inclina\u00e7\u00e3o de 1 a 3% drena a \u00e1gua da chuva da superf\u00edcie em velocidades moderadas, minimizando a eros\u00e3o dos s\u00f3lidos e mantendo-os expostos para secagem cont\u00ednua ao ar. A lagoa de rejeitos estava quase cheia quando o espessador de pasta WesTech Deep Bed foi instalado. Foi necess\u00e1rio elevar a barragem no final do primeiro ano ap\u00f3s o in\u00edcio da constru\u00e7\u00e3o da chamin\u00e9 de superf\u00edcie.<\/span><\/p><p><span dir=\"auto\">Ao longo de cinco anos de opera\u00e7\u00e3o, o n\u00edvel da barragem aumentou mais de 20 metros. Comparando as fotos 8 e 9, o pr\u00e9dio branco da sala de controle pode ser usado como refer\u00eancia de n\u00edvel. Nesse ponto, a barragem atingiu sua capacidade m\u00e1xima, invadindo estradas e outras instala\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e227c01 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e227c01\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span dir=\"auto\">A secagem r\u00e1pida do material proveniente do espessador de leito profundo ao longo dos anos permitiu que a usina tivesse acesso r\u00e1pido \u00e0 barragem de rejeitos assim que esta fosse preenchida.
